How Plant Identification Works

When you use our plant identification feature:

1. You take a photo using the app
2. The image is sent directly to our AI processing partners
3. The AI analyzes the image and returns identification results
4. The image is immediately deleted from processing servers
5. No personal identifiers are attached to the image

Your photos never touch our servers, and we have no way to connect any image to you personally.

Local Data Storage

All your personal plant data is stored locally on your device:

• Plant Collection: Your saved plants and their information
• Care History: Watering, feeding, and maintenance records
• Photos: Any photos you save are stored only on your device
• Reminders: Care schedules and notification preferences
• App Settings: Your preferences and customizations

This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.

Subscription and Payment Information

Subscription management is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play):

• We don't collect or store payment information
• We don't have access to your billing details
• Subscription management is done through your app store account
• We only receive anonymous subscription status (active/inactive)

Third-Party Services

We use minimal third-party services, all with privacy protection:

• AI Processing: Plant identification images are processed by AI services and immediately deleted
• App Stores: Apple App Store and Google Play Store for app distribution and subscription management

We do not use advertising networks, analytics services, or social media integrations.

Children's Privacy

Radar PlantScan is safe for users of all ages. Since we don't collect personal information, there are no special privacy concerns for children under 13. However, we recommend parental supervision for app store purchases and subscription management.

Data Security

Since your data stays on your device, you maintain complete control over its security. We recommend using your device's built-in security features like screen locks and device encryption. For any data that briefly passes through our AI processing, we use industry-standard encryption and immediate deletion protocols.

Your Rights

Because we don't collect your personal data, many traditional privacy rights don't apply. However:

• You can delete the app and all local data at any time
• You can manage your subscription through your app store
